Born in the musical heartland of Nashville, Tennessee, MOAB is a dynamic rock band that's been making waves since its inception in the fifth grade by guitarist Hunter Plotkin. From the small loft room of Hunter’s house, this band has grown in both sound and stature, now gracing stages of iconic venues like The Basement Nashville and the Bluebird Cafe.
At its core, MOAB is a fusion of ambitious talents, comprising Hunter Plotkin (guitar), Gus Williams(drums), Neil Plotkin(keys), Sully Sessions(bass/vox), and Mason Osburn(guitar). Each member brings their own flair, creating a rich tapestry of sound that resonates with fans across genres.
MOAB’s musical journey is a blend of inspiration and innovation. Drawing from the raw energy of the Foo Fighters, the soulful vibes of Mt. Joy, the gritty essence of Black Keys, the punchy rhythms of Fallout Boy, the smooth melodies of The Brook and the Bluff, and the eclectic spirit of Cage the Elephant, MOAB has carved out a unique niche. Their sound is an intriguing mix of blues, alternative, and indie, offering listeners a fresh yet familiar auditory experience.
